Usta hırsız Arsene Lupin III, Arsene Lupin'in torunudur. İşbirlikçileri Daisuke Jigen, Goemon Ishikawa XIII ve karşı koyamadığı güzel Fujiko Mine ile birlikte, müfettiş Koichi Zenigata'nın elinden ne yapıp edip bir şekilde kaçarak tüm zamanların en büyük soygunlarını gerçekleştirirler.
Notlar:
Seri, ilk gösterildiği 1971 tarihinde yeterince iyi bir rating yakalayamadığı için yayından kaldırılmıştır. Daha sonra yeniden gösteriminde ise popüleritesi oldukça artmış ve devam etmiştir.
Monkey Punch tarafından yazılan hikâyenin orijinal konsepti Maurice Leblanc'ın yazdığı Arsene Lupin karakterine dayanmaktadır.
